2017 A new type of confectionery created by Sweets Shop Fujii in the Niseko area of Hokkaido.
The mountain-shaped monaka shells, inspired by the Niseko mountain range, are filled with cookie dough and baked to an ultra-light texture, creating an appealing blend of Japanese and Western flavors.
